Spec working the sheep.
Breeze going Best of Breed at her first ASCA show for a major,
and Nemo going Best Opposite Sex for his second major.
We
are a small kennel located about 10 miles South of Regina,
Saskatchewan, Canada.
We compete in conformation,
obedience, and are starting agility.
We play at herding when we
can, and the dogs do way better without me or my help in the
ring!
Our dogs are first and foremost, our
family.
Cayman
(Sheep’s Kin Calling The Shots) was the first
Australian Shepherd I
have ever owned.
He is a wonderful dog who has taught me more
than I ever thought possible.
He is a wonderful companion, and a
great friend.
Five years later, we added to our family.
We brought home our
second Australian Shepherd, then three months later, we brought home
our third.
Spec (Sheep’s Kin Spectacular
Vantage)
and Nemo (Sheep’s Kin Take A Dare) are brother
and
sister, as well,
great niece and nephew to Cayman.
In 2006 we decided to have a litter of our
own.
We bred Spec
to Arrow,
ASCA Hall of Fame Sire,
(AKC/ASCA Ch. U-CDX, U-AGI, U-AGII Chase’s
Straight Shootin Dude
AKC/ASCA CDX, AX, AXJ, RS-N, GS-N, JS-N, NAC, NJA, DNA-CP,
ROMXI).
We were blessed with five wonderful bundles of energy!
Of this
breeding,
we have kept two great puppies, Breeze and Quake.
Take a
look at their individual pages, they are definately exceeding our
greatest expectations!
We are a raw feeding, minimal vaccination kennel
and raise our litters
that way.
The following pages are a tribute to what we
have, and what we have
owned and loved.
